Opened in 2000, this well-maintained zoo offers, in addition to the traditional visit that should delight young and old alike, a number of thematic animations, such as the feeding of lions, penguins or lemurs. It hosts more than 200 species of animals. It is located about 15 kilometers south of Porto, but is still far from the city center. An outing to be reserved for children who will love to discover the animals in a reconstituted natural habitat. Be careful, in the evening, the animals return one hour before closing time.
