IGREJA SANTA CLARA
Church classified as a national monument in 1910 and part of the Unesco World Heritage in Porto.
The rather undecorated exterior hides a very baroque interior, filled with wooden and gold altars. It's a bit overwhelming, but it's still worth a little detour - if only to admire the remains of the old city wall, which are just a few metres away, and the view of the Douro. The church of Santa Clara was built at the beginning of the 15th century and has been renovated several times. It was declared a national monument in 1910 and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. et quelle merveille quand un rayon de soleil éclaire l'intérieur. A l'entrée, un tour d'abandon.
