One of the six bridges that connect the two banks of the Douro, a 270-meter concrete arch road bridge in Porto.

The Arrábida Bridge is one of the six bridges that connect the two banks of the Douro between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. It is a road bridge with a concrete arch of 270 meters that for many years held the record of the largest arch in the world. Built from 1957 by engineer Edgar Cardoso, the Arrábida Bridge opened on June 22, 1963. Since 2016, it is the only arch in Europe open to the public that can be climbed. This way, you will find yourself 65 meters above the water. This activity is possible from 12 years old.

Le pont Arrábida relie Porto à Vila Nova de Gaia,en particulier sur le fleuve Douro;il facilite beaucoup la circulation entre les deux villes.
