MUSEU SOARES DOS REIS
Museum in Oporto, located in the Palacio dos Carrancas, with many quality pieces that are well worth seeing.
In the Palacio dos Carrancas, built at the end of the eighteenth century, there are many quality pieces that catch the eye. On the left first floor, two paintings by the great Portuguese painter Vasco Fernandes (16th). The rooms on the second floor are devoted to Portuguese art of the 19th century. On the third floor, finally, older paintings and pieces of furniture. A very singular triptych hangs, the work of two 17th-century painters (C. Schut and D. Seghers): a floral still life frames a representation of St. Ignatius of Loyola in the center.
