MUSEU MILITAR DO PORTO
Military museum that presents a vast collection of miniatures and real objects showing the evolution of the armed forces.
Porto's Military Museum presents a vast collection (16,000 pieces!) of miniatures (soldiers, machines, weapons...) and real objects, which show the evolution of the armed forces of the city and the country. Oporto has radiated in this field for more than a century. One room is reserved for the revolt of 31 January 1891. The building where the collections are housed was once the residence of Dona Maria. This visit will please all members of the family. It does not last too long and is very informative. The museum was inaugurated on 21 March 1980.
