Completely renovated hotel with modern rooms with balconies opening onto stunning views of the Ossau valley.
At 1,000 meters above sea level, with breathtaking views over the Ossau Valley, Le Biscaü is only a few kilometers from the Artouste station near Laruns. Gabas is one of the last villages before entering the mountain completely. This beautiful setting is to be admired from the balconies of the Biscaü! The hotel has been completely renovated, the modern rooms with white walls and contemporary beds, bedding are new and bathrooms with showers redesigned… until the living room, all the atmosphere has been rethought and beautiful. The little more than you love is the restaurant on site, traditional and traditional cuisine is offered with duck candies, country ham, truitelles and blueberry pie. There is the Ossalois cheese, a sheep cheese produced in Ossau mountain and refined in the house cellars. On the spot, there is also a visit to the cheese salesmen (refining cellars) of master affineur Jean Laborde who selects the best products of estives (small shepherds in the mountain). A complete and authentic address!

- Personnel pas très aimable, voire désagréable (avec un autre couple)
- Chambres très correctes, mais aucune couverture supplémentaire à disposition (à réclamer au personnel), pas de TV (salle commune qui sent franchement le moisi)
- Restauration déplorable, portions ridicules (assiette de fromage = 2 tranches fines, assiette de charcuterie = 3 tranches de saucisson). De plus la plupart des produits viennent visiblement du supermarché (tout juste sortis de leur emballage) et nous avons également eu le droit a du surgelé (dont une association riz chorizo petit pois - poisson crevette pétoncle que je n'aurais pas tentée)
- A éviter si possible. L’hôtel est par contre bien situé pour les départs de randonnées dans le coin.
