MUSEUM OF THE MIDDLE RHINE VALLEY
Museum with a fine collection of medieval and baroque sculptures and paintings on the Florinsmarkt square.
The Museum of the Middle Rhine Valley, located on the pretty little Florinsmarkt square, boasts a fine collection of sculptures and paintings from the Middle Ages and the Baroque period. The "Augenroller" (rolling eyes), which sticks out its tongue every minute, can be seen on the façade below the clock. It recalls the legend of a thieving knight, Johann Lutter from Koblenz, who was executed in 1536. Numerous temporary exhibitions and workshops are organized.
