Circuit to contemplate the amazing rock formations of the Encantado Valley and discover Ríos Cuyín, Manzano and Minero.
Another alternative to the Circuito Chico, from Bariloche (or vice versa), we take you to Villa Traful via the Río Limay (natural boundary between the province of Neuqén and Rio Negro). Here you'll discover a famous amphitheatre of natural formation, reminiscent of a Roman circus, and the Encantado Valley, charming if not enchanting. If you're accompanied by a guide, be warned that this is likely to be a festival of illusions: each rock formation resembles all kinds of animals or objects, so let your imagination run wild! Along the way, you'll follow the river and its confluences. You'll plunge into thick forests, skirt crystal-clear rivers, admire wild beaches and even take National Route 234, otherwise known as the Route of the Seven Lakes. The tour continues on to Villa La Angostura. But the interest is just as limited, as you don't really get to enjoy the surrounding landscapes, especially if you've decided to go with an agency. Indeed, some agencies are more happy to stop in front of craft or chocolate stores than in front of a beautiful panorama (if not in front of a St Bernard to take a souvenir photo, or just to take a two-minute photo and leave!) Still, you'll have the chance to contemplate the astonishing rock formations of the Encantado valley and discover the beautiful Cuyín, Manzano and Minero ríos.
