A superb excursion, less well known than the others, offering superb views of the region's many lakes. The 4X4 ascent is a bit sporty: you need a certain dexterity to drive; if you're not used to this kind of track, don't risk it! You can get there via an agency, or on foot: take bus no. 10 to Colonia Suiza, then ask to get off at the base. It's a 5-hour walk to the summit (there's a refuge, but it's not open all year round, so book ahead).
