A pretty lagoon surrounded by native flora and bucolic birdlife, perfect for picnics and quiet meals
On Nahuel Huapí Boulevard, shortly before the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción chapel, a fork in the road on the right leads to this pretty 9-hectare lagoon, which is surrounded by a 1 km path. This is a pleasant opportunity to take a picnic and eat in peace and quiet, surrounded by native flora (cypress, calafate, coigüe...) and bucolic birdlife. The path also passes through the Arrayán del Amor, a large arrayan that grew up next to a cypress tree of the cordillera and which it embraces with its branches. A deadly kiss by the way, since it caused the death of the cypress!
