ILKAHÖHE
Very nice view of the Alps and the lake of Starnberg.
South of Tutzing, the 726 m high Ilkahöhe is the highest point in the Five Lakes Region. It offers a beautiful view of the Alps and Lake Starnberg. The Ilkahöhe is named after Princess Ilka von Wrede, who received several Bavarian and Prussian awards for her work in helping the wounded during the 1870-1871 war. Food and drink are available on site: self-service restaurant, café and beer garden. An ideal place for walking and hiking. The Ilkahöhe can be climbed by anyone.
