Built in 1077, this former fortress is still imposing. It was the residence of the Counts and later the Princes of Hohenzollern. His portrait gallery tells his story, admiring the portraits of Charles V, or Stephanie de Beauharnais, adopted daughter of Napoleon I. After the liberation, at the end of the Second World War, the Vichy government in exile made it its last refuge. The writer Celine also stayed there.
