TRINITY COLUMN (DREIFALTIGKEITSSÄULE)
Baroque column 20 m high, one of the famous Holy Trinity columns, Saturday flea market from March to November.
At the center of Hauptplatz, this 20 m-high Baroque column is one of the country's most famous Holy Trinity columns, like the Plague Column on Vienna's Graben. A souvenir of the Habsburgs. The Holy Trinity represents the emperor, the states and the people, or Austria, Hungary and Bohemia. The Linz column also features three patron saints: Sebastian, Florian and Karl Borromäus. Saturday mornings from March to November, a flea market is held at the foot of the column.
