This fishing village on the River Nsele had its heyday during the Mobutu era, with the annual celebration of Fish Day on June 24. Today, the people of Kinshasa flock here at weekends, where they can relax, fish, drink beer, grill, listen to music and enjoy themselves. Here, fish ends its life as maboke or braised fish. From Kin, it's 12 km beyond Ndjili airport. Authentic and friendly.
