This museum opened in February 2004 at the initiative of Saviour Mulwana. If the very name of the museum is the first attraction, for the anecdote know that the initiator started by offering visitors the whole collection of works that he kept in his warehouses before going to realize 6 months after the museum was empty and the coup became irrelevant to the visitors! He then proceeded to start a collection by distinguishing the works to be offered for sale from those that must be exposed. Process of "collection" and acquisition of works in the country that is still under way, and which once completed, should give rise to the museum's next reopening. It will take place in the building occupied by the School and the Association founded by Savior. He is also an artist: He painted and realized monuments that adorn public squares and roundabouts in the city near Butembo a museum in the open air (including the "historic monument"). His works are also in Goma or Kinshasa, in some hotels.
