AUBERGE SUNDGOVIENNE
Charming inn-hotel in a park in Carspach with beautiful rooms overlooking the Sundgau fields
Like a keeper of the flame, the Auberge Sundgovienne stands on your southern road, in Carspach to be exact. Jean-Bernard Hermann and his wife Véronique, a native of the area, have been running the place with great care since 1997. The result is a classy decor that oscillates between tradition and modernity, something not so common in the Sundgau region. The soft atmosphere combined with the design trends makes you want to discover the menu, which is rich in gastronomic proposals from the local area. For example, the fillet of beef with morel mushrooms or the delicious fillet of pike-perch. Presentation plays an important role, and it's with great appetite that we discover, as starters, a pressé of yellow chicken with duck foie gras or roasted monkfish medallions with Chinese noodles. The wine list is finely crafted, with monthly suggestions alongside Alsatian varietals in half-bottles. The daily menu is also served in the evening! Last but not least, the service is highly professional. The Auberge is also a charming hotel with 28 beautiful rooms, set in a beautiful park and overlooking the Sundgau fields. L'Auberge Sundgovienne is not to be missed.

Cadre magnifique
