This small museum administered by the S.A. Cultural History Museum in Cape Town has been presenting all South African flags since the arrival of the first settlers. A visit all the more interesting as colours still changed in 1994. In this house, Reverend De Villiers composed in 1921 the music of Die Stem van Suid Afrika, the national anthem associated with years of apartheid. Die Stem was played alone from May 2, 1957 to April 26, 1994. Before 1957, we associated the God Save the Queen.
