Don't be discouraged by the rustic appearance of Piedigrotta. In spite of appearances, here we eat the best pizza in town. The Neapolitan managers brought their recipes and ingredients to this alley in the centre of Varese. The buffalo mozzarella is well melted and the dough is tender and crunchy as it should be. Moreover, the presentation is original, with each pizza accompanied by a small glass of sauce placed in the middle. The youth of Varese, fond of "good and cheap" addresses, has made it one of its favourite haunts

Per me è assurdo non poter trovare una singola proposta nativamente vegana nel menù: certo, si possono togliere gli ingredienti e mangiare una normale pizza con pomodoro e melanzane (come ho fatto); con tutto il rispetto, come posso preferirvi a un locale che si dimostra più attento a questa clientela?
Quando si tratterà di organizzare un'uscita tra amici, porrò il veto.
Food is OK, but certainly not the best and the place is not cheap, considering the poor service and average quality.
Not a place I'm interested in going again.
