20 km north of Varese, framed by beautiful green hills, this magnificent villa deserves to be discovered. A 16th century country house, brought up to date in the 18th century and restored today by the FAI association, it embodies the refined art of living of the Enlightenment. Salons, alcoves and rooms keep their beautiful rococo fresco decorations while the gardens are a real theatrical setting. A succession of terraces goes up the hill to end in the peschiera, a vast fountain formerly a fish pond.
