VILLA PANZA
Former residence of a Milanese nobleman famous for his collection of contemporary art.
This second home of an 18th century Milanese nobleman is famous for its collection of contemporary art. Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, a great lover of contemporary art, brought together works from the 1950s. Among them, figures of American minimalist art, light installations by Dan Flavin (1933-1996), Robert Irwin, James Turrell, Robert Wilson and the tribute to Ground Zero by Wem Wounders. In the park (33,000 square meters) decorated with sculptures and land art, there are spaces for picnics or lunch at the gourmet restaurant.
