GANESHA PARK TEMPLE
A park near the town of the same name housing two enormous pink statues of Ganesh, the elephant-god of the Hindu pantheon.
This park at the edge of the river Nakhon Nayok, with a few km of the eponymous city, has two enormous pink statues of Ganesh, the god-elephant of the Hindu pantheon. Thais come to pray to him for whoever brings them success, this god being reputed to protect the faithful and remove obstacles. Buddhist monks will welcome visitors for blessings. Several Hindu gods are represented here as well as dragons from Chinese and Thai mythology. The park also contains a floating restaurant, and some souvenir shops.
