LYCÉE ROCHAMBEAU-FRENCH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
The Washington School in Washington, D.C., founded in 1955, is a joint school that provides preschool, elementary and secondary education, from kindergarten to bachelor's degree, or 15 years of study. High school is private and regulates by the French Ministry of Education, but also the American system. Students present examinations of the National patent and Baccalaureate Diploma, some with the international option (OIB). Many optional lessons are offered as cinema, arts and theatre, as well as numerous sports and cultural activities within the Rochambeau clubs. More than 50 nationalities are combined from kindergarten to terminal, with integration being a priority in Rochambeau.
