Museum with numerous collections of period objects and thematic exhibitions related to lighthouses and sea rescues

For lovers of lighthouses and everything related to the sea, a visit to this museum is a must! This institution has the largest number of objects related to lighthouses and sea rescue in the country. In fact, it was founded by Ken Black, a former coast guard officer. The museum includes numerous collections of period objects and thematic exhibitions. One learns about the traditions and evolution of lighthouses in the United States, as well as the major role they played (and sometimes still play!) in the protection of ships.
