Camden State Park offers almost twenty hiking trails and numerous camping areas (open from April to October). The trails are designed for walking, but also for snowshoeing in winter. Some of the larger trails are ideal for snowmobiling, cycling or cross-country skiing. In an hour's time, you can choose to climb to the summit of Mont Batie, which offers a splendid view of Camden and the ocean, or opt for the Maiden Cliff Trail, a little longer, but just as impressive with its view of Lake Megunticook and its islands.
