Church not to be missed in Vercelli with an incredible cycle of frescoes.
A must-see in Vercelli, this church dedicated to St. Christopher, patron saint of travelers, retains its16th-century architectural appearance, complemented by a number of successive additions. The incredible cycle of frescoes decorating the interior is well worth a visit. Designed by Gaudenzio Ferrari (1475-1546), the frescoes in the transept and apse chapels, as well as numerous Renaissance and Baroque paintings, are a must-see. A grandiose edifice, a veritable museum!
