MUSEO DEL TESORO DEL DUOMO DI VERCELLI
Museum showing one of the richest collections of sacred art in the peninsula.
This museum tells the story of over 1,600 years of history: a fitting tribute to Piedmont's oldest diocese, founded in 345 by Sant'Eusebio, the first bishop of Vercelli. One of the richest collections of sacred art in the peninsula. Sant'Eusebio's remarkable book, the Codex eusebianus, opens the tour. Not to be missed is the famous Vercelli book (10th century), the first book printed in the Anglo-Saxon language, preserved in the Chapter Library and studied by experts from all over the world.
