Archaeological museum with more than 600 pieces from the excavations.
The MAC(Museo archeologico della città di Vercelli) is a new addition to the Museo Leone, occupying the former convent of Santa Chiara, and tells visitors about the history of the town and its region: its Celtic origins, the Romanization period and the end of Antiquity. More than 600 items unearthed during archaeological digs are displayed in a chronological layout, in seven thematic rooms.
