One of the city's historic restaurants, Baracca offers typical Biella dishes in a simple, familiar setting, where yellow dominates. The dishes on offer change according to the day and the season, but certain classics are always on the menu, such as the risotto, which is a must, but also the bagna cauda, or the braised beef(brasato) cooked slowly in Barolo wine. A fine list of Piedmont wines, too. Service is a little slow, but the value for money is well worth the detour.

Locale accogliente, servizio accurato cibo del territorio ottimo e prezzo onesto. Mi era stato consigliato il riso in cagnone che è stato una splendida scelta, ma anche la panissa e i bolliti valevano la pena. Una trattoria come non ne esistono più. Meglio prenotare

Aspettavo da tempo di provare questo ristorante e ci sono andata utilizzando un coupon Groupon con la mia famiglia. Beh devo dire che le mie aspettative sono state deluse, un po’ per il locale vecchiotto, un po’ per i piatti troppo semplici e non così buoni come mi aspettavo, ma soprattutto per l’atteggiamento dei proprietari lontani anni luce da quella che si definisce ospitalità. Sicuramente servire gente arrivata con un coupon scontato non è piacevole, ma nessuno li obbliga a inserirsi su Groupon.
Poco o tanto, il cliente ha pagato e ha tutto il diritto di essere trattato bene, e non come un cliente di serie B
