MUSEO CARNICO DELLE ARTI E TRADIZIONI POPOLARI
Museum with about thirty pieces concerning the aspects of the life and traditions of Carnia.
This museum is the result of the research and collection work carried out since 1920 by Senator and Professor Michele Gortani (1883-1966). It is part of the Carnia museum system and is housed in the Palazzo Campeis, a beautiful eighteenth-century building reminiscent of Venetian stately homes. The ethnographic material exhibited in about thirty rooms covers all aspects of Carnia's life and traditions from the 14th to the 19th century.
