Historic and beautiful hotel located in the heart of Merano with very large and comfortable rooms

A magnificent, historic hotel in the heart of Merano. Dating back to the mid-18th century, it was already a tavern when it was called Cheval Blanc in German. After the Second World War, it was renamed in a bilingual German-Italian version and became - geopolitics oblige - the Rössl Bianco! A luxury B&B, with very large, comfortable rooms, tastefully renovated to retain all traces of the old (stenciled walls, frescoes, converted kitchen, etc.). A warm welcome.

Di rientro dopo il Capodanno sulle Dolomiti, ci siamo imbattuti casualmente in questo posto magico. Atmosfera incantevole all’interno di un edificio storico, gentilezza del personale e qualità dei piatti degustati, mi fanno consigliare senza ombra di dubbio una tappa in questo ristorante a chi si trova a passare da Merano. Prezzo assolutamente sotto la media se si considerano qualità e location.

Locale molto bello, peccato che il cartello all'ingresso dica di aspettare lì con tanto di campanello suonato due volte nessuno si è presentato dopo quasi 10 minuti, passavano i camerieri senza che nessuno si degnasse di rivolgerci parola. Pessima accoglienza, ce ne siamo andati
