Hotel located in front of the abbey of Novacella, in a bucolic setting of vineyards and apple trees
Situated opposite the Novacella Abbey, in a bucolic setting of vineyards and apple trees, Hotel du Pont takes its name from the nearby small wooden bridge, covered with a double-sloped roof, which crosses the Isarco River. Originally part of the religious complex, the building dates back to the 17th century and has been restored to a hotel structure. The restaurant offers excellent South Tyrolean cuisine and in the summer you can relax in the shady garden around the pool. The bar and the restaurant serve the good white wines produced by the abbey.

Siamo stati ospiti nel 2022 rientrando da Vipiteno, ci siamo fermati per caso a dormire ed e stata un esperienza meravigliosa che se di una sola notte. Il ristorante ha servito dei piatti deliziosi, l'atmosfera e fiabesca nel giardino, il personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. La camera pulita, fresca, comoda, e soprattutto la vista. Di notte sentire lo scorrere del fiume fuori dalla finestra e stato meraviglioso . Non trovo le parole nel descrivere l'esperienza di alloggiare in questo Hotel. Spero di ritornarci presto e ringrazio tutto lo staff della struttura per la disponibilità, gentilezza e cortesia.
