World War II bunker, used as a spy base by the Stasi until the 1980s
This bunker dates back to the Second World War, not the Great War. Initially built by Fascist Italy to guard against invasion, it became a strategic point during the Cold War, on the border between the Austrian and Italian spheres of influence. Included in NATO's defense plans against the Warsaw Pact as early as 1950, it was subsequently used for espionage operations. Today, the bunker has been rehabilitated as a museum by enthusiasts, featuring everyday objects for a more realistic experience.
