CONTRADA MONDOVÌ
Several houses dating from the Middle Ages with a museum preserving an interesting collection of religious objects.
Formerly known as the Contrada degli Ebrei (of the Jews), this is a picturesque pedestrian street that has retained much of its original appearance. Many of the houses date back to the Middle Ages, and there are numerous antique-broker stores where you can pick up interesting items. Atno. 18 de la Contrada stands the synagogue, built in 1884. A few steps further on, the church of San Sebastiano (dating from 1320, remodeled in 1844) houses the Diocesan Museum, which preserves an interesting collection of religious objects.
