Rudimentary comfort center, running on well water and solar power, ideal for around 20 people
The center has been welcoming travelers since 2004. Now self-managed, it runs on well water and solar energy and can accommodate around twenty people. Tourism-related tasks and income are shared in turn among local people who have undergone training provided by WWF and the Morondava Association of Approved Guides. This equitable distribution is one of the keys to the site's success: the local people welcome travelers with open arms. Comfort is rudimentary, but the experience is extraordinary: we recommend it!
