We hosted our wedding events here over four days. Highly recommend!! The staff is wonderful, the food is fantastic, and you can’t beat the location. Our guests still rave about this venue and how much the loved it.

We went for dinner at the restaurant tonight and it was so disappointing. We got a table away from everyone else, the waiter knew nothing about the food and the food itself was pretty terrible. We just wanted a good plate of pasta and instead we got mushy risotto and a tiny portion of 4 pieces of pasta with tomato sauce. We left as soon as we could! I would NOT recommend!

Location is stunning.
When it comes to services and the rooms, I am very disappointed.
Considering the price range (250/300 EUR x night), I would have expected a different kind of experience.
To sum up:
- Rooms utilities needs to be upgraded (beds, toilets and plugs are 1 star)
- breakfast is nice when it comes to hand made cakes and cold cuts; however selection is limited and fruits and coffee are not very nice
- no attention to guests.
Other Relais in the area at this price point are completely at an another level

Stayed at this converted farmhouse-into-hotel in the heart of Tuscany. After a long hot day cycling, the cold pool is refreshing and helps with sore muscles. My friend and I had a two room suite with a sitting room, bedroom and large marble bathroom. This is such a nice place and I can see it would be perfect for a destination wedding.

I stayed for two nights, shooting a destination wedding at the beautiful Borgo Casabianca. It was my first time in the countryside of Tuscany and I could not have asked for a more incredible weekend. The grounds are sprawling with the perfect blend of old world charm and luxury. You are in the middle of nothing and yet everything feels like home, right where you want to be. The property was rented out entirely for the wedding which made for a safe environment for all the guests. The staff was helped and friendly, the property was kept really clean and the rooms were cozy and luxe. The food was amazing and the huge breakfast buffet was always a highlight to the day as well as a fun communal experience. As far as a wedding, this is as good as it gets in the heart of Tuscany. There are endless locations and options for photos, I could've created things for weeks. This is such a special spot for weddings, events or even just a short stay!

Posto magico, ma senza copertura cellulare e con wifi penoso

Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Was here for a wedding and the whole stay was magical. Staff were friendly and attentive. As a foreigner I wasn’t ready to tip the porter, so would advise people to carry cash for their stay.

Great location and landscaping but the rooms need of a desperate upkeep or maintenance and the manager/hotel representative needs some training. Such a beautiful place wasted by poor service and mismanaged by an amateur manager.
Breaking down the review.
THE GOOD:
Landscaping is generous. The facade of the building and the rest of the compound is very pretty and picturesque. Guests can probably utilize the facilities for events such as weddings and other life activities.
Other noteworthy things are;
- The Indian butler was friendly and helpful.
- The room has a nice view of the outside.
- The breakfast attendants in two occasions we were there were warm and welcoming.
- Decent first breakfast but the second one was so so.
THE BAD:
However, the beauty of this place is just that, only the facade. The figurative cracks have started to show real quick. The The receptionist who checked us in wasn’t very friendly and was just doing the bare minimum. It all goes downhill from there as when we saw the room as it needs a badly required upkeep.
- we found that the toilet lights weren’t working,
- the rugs on the floor felt old (though it probably has a long history so props to that) but i think it needs replacing or at least to be put on a frame if this is very important.
- pillows they provide are made of hard foam which gets uncomfortable after some time
- there were also mosquitoes in the evening i believe this is due to the windows being opened when the rooms are not occupied.
- The pool is not temperature controlled so it was cold even during summer.
THE UGLY:
The very defensive manager.
It rained the whole Friday during our second day. We were driving around a different town but when we arrived in the evening, No one was in the reception to assist us by lending us umbrellas or explain to us what was going on. We felt like the staff had completely abandoned the hotel and left the guests on their own. As it turned out there was a state of emergency in the region and the power has been cut. Along with the power, they also cut off the water supply. It was a horrible evening.
The hotel doesn’t know how to handle such an emergency situation. They could have:
- assigned a person to assist the guests who didnt know what to do or whats going on.
- Have emergency power backup. I mean this is not a cheap small hotel. Yet they have failed to invest in emergency power generator.
- Due to power cut, the breakfast staff couldn’t make coffee nor make warm breakfast - this is fine and truly acceptable. However, when we raised the power and water cuts, the manager replied very defensively and spew inaccurate accounts of that had happened. The manager claimed that they served us warm meals and coffee despite the fact. An act you could only expect from an amateur hotel owner. I wish the hotel manager is at least aware of what is going on with the property they are managing.
- Own to their lack of organization and preparedness instead of being defensive when a complain is received.
OVERALL:
Very bad experience. This hotel is only worthy of a day trip like a museum and should be treated it as such.
To the manager, please learn again how to manage a hotel as you arent doing a barely acceptable job.

This is a little Italian village that has been turned into a hotel and related complex. Some of the old dwellings are for guests to stay. One is a restaurant, one has a big oven, one is dedicated to bread. Beautiful views and grounds, lots of flowers, art. Pool was too cold (in May) but would be nice in hot months. Lovely, romantic.
The Borgo’s restaurant provided all of our wedding day food and we were blown away by how delicious the cocktail hour food, reception dinner and Millefeuille wedding cake were!! Truly the most delicious wedding meal and cake that either of us have had and our guests couldn't stop saying the same thing.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Borgo Casabianca and it was a really good value for the money.
Thank you to Annamaria and all of the staff!!
