THE LION HABITAT RANCH
New lion habitat with a professional trainer. Located about 10 miles south of Las Vegas
The Lion Habitat is the "retirement home" for the wildcats once present at the MGM Lion Habitat, a huge glass menagerie in the casino that had existed since 1999. Closed when the casino was renovated in 2012, the MGM Lion Habitat then sold its lions to Keith Evans, a professional trainer, who welcomed them into this new place designed for them, about 10 miles south of Las Vegas and their former home. Other animals are housed there and animations are proposed such as the possibility to feed giraffes.
