The train station of Călărași is in the east of the city, 200 m from the bus station. It's a nice little building in old style. There are regular connections to Chișinău (46 km away) and other places in the country. The price of the train ticket is low, but for reservations, timetables and destinations, please refer to the Moldovan Railways website or ask at the ticket office at the train station. From the bus station you can also reach the capital or other cities.
