This station serves various Moldavian cities as well as Moscow, Kiev, St. Petersburg and Bucharest. There is a luggage locker in the station, open 24 hours a day for about 8 lei per day, it is located 100 m north of the main entrance along the platforms. It is possible to buy train tickets online from the website or at the ticket offices. The railway station also serves as a bus station (the other three bus stations are located piața Centrală, to the north and south-west).
