Built from 1974 to 1983, the Cosmos Hotel is remarkable for its imposing Soviet architecture, which was the work of Boris Banykin and Irina Kolbayeva. The hotel is located in the city centre, at the intersection of Constantin Negruzzi and Dimitrie Cantemir boulevards, behind the statue of Grigori Kotovski. Of the 150 rooms (with air-conditioning, TV, Wifi), 10 are renovated while the other 140 rooms, with Soviet decoration, will take you back to the past. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Free guarded parking is available.

J'ai passé 10 jours en août 2015 dans cet hotel. Il est trés bien situé prés de la gare, de galeries commerçantes,de restaurants,des trolley bus et du centre.
La chambre était très correcte et propre et le personnel au petit soins.
Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était copieux.
Le hall était animé.
