This monument, inaugurated on May 9, 1975, is dedicated to the soldiers who fell in front of the Nazi troops during the Second World War and takes place in the middle of a huge park, not far from the military cemetery. It was made by the sculptors A. Maiko and I. Poniatowski, as well as by architect A. Minaev. A huge red sculpture rises towards the sky at a height of more than 25 m, formed of five gun-shaped pillars set in a cluster and inclined. In the centre a flame burns permanently.

Relié directement au cimetière central (dit aussi arménien), le moyen d'une promenade plaisante dans le quartier, ce sont des lieux vivants où les gens se promènent.
