This 1991 monument consists of two red granite blocks that form the base of an inverted pyramid framing a six-pointed star. On a pink granite pedestal is a bronze statue of the Prophet Moses. An inscription on the back of the monument is in three languages: Hebrew, Romanian and Russian. The sculptors were S. Shoihet and N. Epelbaum. The monument pays tribute to the Jewish victims of the capital's ghetto deported to Transnistria.
