PARCUL "RÂŞCANI"

The Ciocana district is residential, made up of modern buildings and building bars, but the park Râșcani brings a touch of greenery and is a real natural lung in the middle of the urban space... a bit like Central Park in New York! Quite extensive, it stretches to the edge of the Râșcani neighborhood to the west and has different species of plants, flowers and trees. Three lakes run through this park, bringing a touch of coolness in the summer and creating a restful, even romantic atmosphere in spring and autumn, when the foliage of the trees changes colour and seems to catch fire. Loving couples stroll or chat, sitting on the benches along the paths. People also come here with family or friends to rest, fish or picnic in the shade of the trees. In spring and summer, the lakeshores are laid out as small beaches with sand. Children's games are installed near the lakes and elsewhere in the park. It is not uncommon to come across sportsmen running or cycling, people walking their dogs or photographers looking for beautiful pictures. To the northwest of the park, there is a sports area and a restaurant with a terrace, the Attico. In the centre-east, between lakes 1 and 2, there is an area for archery or pellet shooting. In the south-east near lake no. 3 there is a restaurant, the Toro Grill. All around the park there are many bars, restaurants, shops as well as public and residential buildings.
