COJUSNA CASTLE
On the wine circuit, here is a small collection that is worth knowing. 15 km from Chișinău is the château Cojșuna, which invites you to discover wines and cognacs. The four tasting rooms are original in a medieval but chic atmosphere. Here, each wine has its history and the cellar itself is a place of memory. The estate was founded in 1908, but the Migdal-P company was created in 1995 and the development work was completed in 1997. The wines produced here are of high quality. You will discover the narrow streets of the wine library, where dusty but very tidy bottles are stacked in compartments. The tour includes a historical tour, a tour on the principles of manufacturing and processing, and a tasting of four types of wine. The doors of the château Cojușna are wide open and welcoming, and the establishment offers traditional lunches to accompany the wines. From the tower of the castle, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the vineyards and the surrounding area.
The products are represented by a dozen collections with:
- collector wines (red and sweet, high alcohol): muscat, cahors, grătiești and marsala;
- a dozen collections (dry red and dry white wines) including Château Migdal, Les Saisons, Infinity, Stoïque (cabernet, merlot, sauvignon, chardonnay);
- Golden Crane (semi-sweet, red and white, cabernet and chardonnay).
Wine and souvenirs can be purchased on site.
