The Avdarma Museum of History and Ethnography opened in 2011 for the two hundredth anniversary of the founding of the village. This very interesting museum deals with the history, culture and traditions of Gagauz, but through the past of this locality and its inhabitants. Avdarma was part of the Russian Empire, the Kingdom of Romania, the Moldovan SSR in Soviet times and then the UTA of Gagauzia in independent Moldova. The museum's collection is large and includes old or 19th-20th century coins, handicrafts, tools (looms, spinning wheels...), pottery, carpets and embroidery, traditional costumes, ecclesiastical documents from 1720, documents related to the different historical periods through which the village has passed, photographs of daily life and of villagers, medals... One can follow the destiny of local families over several generations. We learn that four villagers were sent to Chernobyl in 1986, that a number fought in Afghanistan in 1979-1989 and that two even served in the Red Army in Vietnam. We also discover the story of Alexander Berger, a German soldier shot in May 1944 for defending the local population. His son went there in 2014 and was able to meet villagers who had known his father well.
In the vicinity of Avdarma, a fountain from the time of the Nogai Tatars is visible. It is called in Russian Tatarskiy rodnik or Nogaiskiy rodnik.
