In the Rybnitsa region, the village of Stroentsy is worth a visit for its natural environment and the stories that surround it. This village is located on the eastern bank of the Dniestr (Nistru), in a valley that opens out into the valley carved by the river from north to south. The relief rises quickly and wooded cliffs surround this peaceful locality. Going up the valley perpendicular to the Dniestr and the river flowing through it, you will arrive near the Staraya Melnitsa restaurant and charming, comfortable and well-equipped wooden chalets where it is possible to stay. From this point you can take a path passing behind the restaurant and reach the top of the cliffs overlooking the valley. There is a beautiful view of the surroundings and a 5-metre high stone "wind tower" (bashnya vetrov in Russian). It was erected in 1870 by Emilia Petrovna Wittgenstein-Trubetskoy's daughter in memory of her father, Russian Marshal Pyotr Khristianovich Wittgenstein, whose estate was located nearby. This tower once housed a bronze bust of Marshal Wittgenstein with epitaphs of the Russian poet Kondrati Ryleev, who was also a revolutionary of the Decabrist movement. Below the tower is the "Countess's House".
According to some people, Russian Marshal Pyotr Rumantsiev, born in Moscow in 1725, is actually from Stroentsy, as his mother stayed there at the time of his birth.
The church of the Holy Archangel Michael can also be admired in the vicinity.
