VINIA TRAIAN

This estate, whose name is inspired by the Roman Emperor Trajan who colonized Dacia, is located on the slopes of Bugeac, the wine region of Cahul, on 2,000 ha of vines within a radius of 30 km. The composition of the vineyards is represented by cabernet, merlot, pinot franc, muscat, sauvignon, chardonnay, aligoté, saperavi and rkatsiteli grape varieties. The company produces a wide range of very popular red, white, rosé and sparkling wines. The technological processes are very recent and adhere to the principles of elaborate vinification. This estate offers a wide range of dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet and sweet wines. In 2019, Vinia Traian participated in fifteen international fairs (Yantai in China, Bucharest, Brussels...) and her wines have received numerous distinctions: silver medal at the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting in Neustadt (Germany), gold medal at the Challenge international du vin de Bourg (France), bronze medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition and at the Decanter World Wine Awards (Great Britain)..
