This excellent restaurant, impeccably located on the small port of Piso Livadi, is run by the Markakis family. The menu features traditional Greek dishes, including a wide selection of fresh, well-prepared fish. But it also serves eggplant caviar, tarama, zucchini fritters and grilled calamari... Don't forget to make a reservation, as it's full almost all the time. Dessert and a glass of raki are often offered at the end of the meal... Prices remain reasonable for excellent cuisine.

Markakis is a restaurant located in the eastern part of the island of Paros on the charming and picturesque port of Piso Livadi. It offers a cozy setting, with a beautiful view of the port, to enjoy the dishes concocted by the chef Maria Soboni. In order to offer you the best, this traditional Greek chef selects high quality products. Her delicious traditional mezze dishes from the Cyclades will delight your taste buds. At Markakis, you will also be able to taste various seafood dishes such as sea urchin salad, grilled octopus with rocket salad and grilled squid. Meat lovers will also be pleased. For example, they can opt for the baked lamb shank, the grilled oriental chicken brochettes or the beef tenderloin sautéed with pasteurized goat butter. On the Markakis menu, you will find a fine selection of Greek wines and spirits to accompany your lunch or dinner.
