BYZANTIO
An endearing tavern which has nothing to do with attracting tourists. We appreciated the freshness of the dishes of the day, to choose in the window. The place is lively and offers a classic and family cuisine in the heart of the old quarter of the city. A reference since 1965, without much charm but with a rich history in cooking. It opens early in the morning for tripe soups in particular (legumes and chicken as well) and continues with home-made classics that are a bit hearty, including the unavoidable moussaka, as well as stews and pastas.
