Hazuri Bagh Baradari is a white marble pavilion with 12 doors designed to allow free air circulation. It was built between 1813 and 1818 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Sikh ruler of Punjab, to celebrate the acquisition of the Koh-i-Noor diamond. This 105,602 carat (21.61 g) diamond is currently mounted on the crown of the British Royal Family, displayed with the jewels of the British Crown. Pakistan and India are competing for ownership with Great Britain.
