Much less well preserved than the Shah Jahan Mosque, the Dagbir Mosque is still worth a stop. It dates from 1588 and was built on the orders of the then Governor of Thatta, Khusro Khan Charaas. The building is partially damaged but mosaics and friezes of Koranic calligraphy still cover parts of the walls and ceiling.
